Mercybelle Redondo is an attorney with over two decades of experience advising high- net-worth individuals, families, and closely-held businesses on wealth preservation, estate planning, and real estate structuring. Her practice focuses on asset protection, cross-border planning, and business succession strategies.
Drawing on a strong foundation in entity restructuring, creditor-sensitive planning, and Act 60 compliance, Mercy offers tailored trust and estate solutions for individuals, families, and closely held businesses.
She works closely with tax advisors, fiduciaries, financial planners, and family offices to deliver cohesive, strategic plans.
Mercy brings deep expertise in complex real estate matters, including the acquisition, sale, financing, and restructuring of high-value residential and commercial properties in both Florida and Puerto Rico. She regularly advises on transactions involving estates and closely-held businesses, and has extensive experience navigating lender negotiations and the restructuring of family-owned assets.
Earlier in her career, Mercy practiced commercial litigation and bankruptcy, and later managed real estate projects for family-owned businesses in Puerto Rico and Florida, including distressed asset restructurings. She served as general counsel to real estate and construction entities, overseeing development, loan workouts, permitting, and turnover—experience that now informs her counsel on succession, liquidation, and complex real estate transitions.
